This grant was a very special one for Elsie's Story. It would have meant so much to Elsie.

This year we have granted brand new crash mats to Vortex Cheer of Southport.

This has meant they have been able to secure their own premises, and the subscriptions from the cheer members goes back into the business. This has enabled Vortex Cheer to increase the number of classes they run on a weekly basis, ultimately meaning more cheer classes for the children and young adults of Southport!

Elsie's Story have granted an Eye Gaze to a local Southport family. This family have a little girl who was born with Cerebal Palsy. Jenni and Fran met with the family and met the little girl. To say we were blown away is an understatement! 

The Eye Gaze will allow her to communicate both at home and at school. 

The Eye Gaze Edge gives people the chance to take their lives back. It allows speech generation, web browsing, the ability to send emails, make calls and send texts along with the all important games to play. The Eye Gaze is  all eye controlled!

On the 27th November Elsie's Story granted a truly unforgettable experience for the children of Merefield School in Ainsdale. 

Fifty one children with staff arrived to Santa's Secret Forest in Orrell Woods for a magical day.

With a VR train from the forest to Lapland, and a VR lift to see Santa himself. There were smiles and laughter all round.

A special 'thank you' to Santa's Secret Forest for hosting us, and for the kind donation of tickets to enable this.

This December the children of Year 4 at Farnborough Road Infants school have been given a trip to the Liverpool Empire to see Matilda live on stage.

The entire year group of 120 pupils have been granted tickets and a pick  'n' mix box to enjoy the show.

Coaches have been provided free of charge by Ava Coaches to enable this trip to go ahead and we would like to thank the coach company for their generous support.

Applications were made by both clinicians and family friends of familes that currently dealing with illness.

We were able to send one family and their child to Santa's Secret Forest to make important memories for Christmas and provide the families with Smyths Toys shopping vouchers to ease the burden and keep Christmas magical.

These smaller more personal grants are exactly what Elsie's Story planned from the start, and ultimately are based around what Elsie would have wanted.
