Hi, I’m Nicola, Charity Operations Coordinator at Elsie’s Story. I’m a qualified journalist and have spent more than 25 years working in media and communications across the North West, focusing on telling the stories that matter.

I joined Elsie’s Squad in April, coming from a media role at a national charity where I worked on major fundraising campaigns. In this role, I support the team to continue the brilliant work they are already doing, while bringing my experience in fundraising and communications to help amplify the wonderful efforts of people who support Elsie’s Story.

I feel incredibly privileged to work alongside our amazing community, helping the charity to grow so we can give back in meaningful and lasting ways. I didn’t have the honour of knowing Elsie, but through her family and friends, I have gained an insight into the beautiful girl she was and keep her at the forefront of everything I do.
