Hi, I’m Tom, Charity Officer and Fundraising Lead at Elsie’s Story. I studied Business Management and Marketing at Edge Hill University and since I was 11, I’ve been teaching myself how to use video editing software like Final Cut Pro and Canva, turning a hobby into something I love.

At Elsie’s Story, I co-ordinate fundraising events within our community and help bring the charity to life online, producing social media video posts that drive engagement and brand awareness.

I was first introduced to the charity when I met Jen in October 2024. Hearing her speak so passionately about why she founded Elsie’s Story and her vision for the future really stayed with me. My connection to the charity is also personal – my mum taught both Elsie and her younger sister, and my dad represents the charity on the board of trustees. After feeling the positive impact Elsie’s Story was already having on the Southport community within the first year, I knew this was a team I wanted to be part of.

When I’m not hiding in the background making videos, you’ll find me running pop-up shops, meeting with fundraisers or brainstorming new merch ideas with the team… or having drinks with Fran!
